The Alpha Real Estate Group (Alpha RE), a specialist in apartment privatisation and real estate management, looks back on a successful first half of 2018. At approx. EUR 29.2 million, sales in the first six months of 2018 were about twice that of the same period last year (EUR 14.8 million). Alpha RE also has significant growth in the number of privatised apartments: 180 residential units were sold in the first half of the year. This corresponds to about 80 percent of the total annual volume in 2017. The average revenue per unit sold was EUR 162,222.
Peter Buhrmann, CEO of the Alpha Real Estate Group "In the first half of the year, we attained strong growth in our purchasing and sales activities, thereby once again topping the strong results for the previous year." Therefore, the company is also increasing its sales forecast for 2018: "Given the continued favourable market environment and a well-filled project pipeline, we are confident that we will reach sales of approx. EUR 60 million this year," Buhrmann continued.
The properties sold in the first six months of 2018 include a residential building in Offenbach city centre and multiple residential facilities in Heidelberg, Germersheim (Rhineland-Palatinate), Landau (Rhineland-Palatinate) and Biblis (Hesse). "Our aim is to extend Alpha RE's activities beyond the Rhine-Neckar and Rhine-Main region to other cities in southern and western Germany. Here, our focus is on residential real estate with between 50 and 200 residential units in the middle market segment," says Buhrmann.
